01. Introduction
This Cookie Policy describes the essential browser storage and optional category settings used by the current ozvelora source website. It distinguishes between technology actually implemented and categories that are available for future configuration. Cookies and localStorage are different browser mechanisms, so this page explains both. The operator must update it if new providers, tracking scripts, durations or purposes are introduced. Visitors should be able to understand what a choice changes before they make it.
02. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website or service may ask a browser to retain. They can support a login, help remember preferences or enable a service to measure how a site is used. Different cookies have different lifetimes and may originate from the site itself or from third parties. The supplied ozvelora code does not create a first-party cookie using document.cookie; instead it uses browser localStorage for two persistent preferences.
03. How Cookies Work
A browser normally sends applicable HTTP cookies to a website when making requests. Some are session cookies and disappear after a browsing session; others last until a specified date or until they are deleted. A browser's cookie controls can also affect embedded services. Unlike a cookie, localStorage is normally read by JavaScript running on the relevant origin and is not automatically attached to every HTTP request. These distinctions matter when considering the information that may leave a device.
04. Why ozvelora Uses Cookies
Ozvelora needs a practical way to remember that a visitor has confirmed an adult age and to preserve the choices made in the cookie settings panel. Those functions are supported by localStorage rather than first-party cookies in the delivered package. The site also describes optional analytics and marketing categories, but no provider for either category is installed. Optional preferences are therefore recorded without placing an advertising or analytics cookie by the site's own code.
05. Necessary Cookies
Necessary or essential storage supports features that users cannot reasonably disable without losing basic functionality. For ozvelora, the age-confirmation record and consent preferences fall into that category. They help the site remember a decision rather than asking the same questions on every page. The choice to block browser storage remains available through the user's browser, though doing so can cause the 18+ dialog and privacy panel to appear again on later visits.
06. Functional Storage
Functional technologies may remember a visitor's preferred language, accessibility choice or interface settings. The current source package does not save such additional preferences. Its navigation, mobile menu and FAQ accordion work without persistent tracking. If future development adds functional storage, each new identifier and its purpose should be recorded in the storage table below. Visitors should not have to infer hidden behaviour from a general statement about improving the browsing experience.
07. Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies are often used to understand aggregate traffic patterns, page engagement and website performance. The ozvelora settings interface includes an analytics choice, which is disabled by default, but there is no analytics script or measurement platform included in this version. Selecting analytics permission therefore does not activate tracking at present. If analytics is later added, scripts must not load before the appropriate consent has been obtained, and the provider and retention details must be disclosed.
08. Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies may be used by advertising networks to measure campaigns, associate visits with an audience or personalise promotions. The supplied ozvelora site does not include advertising pixels, remarketing tags or behavioural advertising scripts. Marketing is an optional category in the interface and defaults to off. Before any such technology is installed, the site operator must identify the actual services, explain their purposes and ensure the selected preference is respected across every page.
09. First-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are associated with the website's own domain, although the origin and use of a cookie still require examination. No first-party HTTP cookie is deliberately set by the HTML and JavaScript included in this site. A hosting platform could add technical cookies or related measures in its own configuration, which would need separate review. The operator should inspect the live site and update this statement if deployed infrastructure introduces cookies beyond the two localStorage records described here.
10. Third-Party Technologies
Third-party services can receive network requests even when the website does not explicitly set cookies. This site loads Google Fonts to provide its typography. A Google Maps frame is created only after the visitor chooses to load a city overview, and that external service may use its own storage or request metadata. Details about the behaviour of these services are governed by their policies and may change. External links to other websites operate independently of ozvelora.
11. Browser Local Storage
LocalStorage retains small text values within a browser origin and normally persists until a site, visitor or browser removes them. The site saves JSON records containing a decision and an expiry timestamp. Values are read locally by the interface and are not themselves sent to an ozvelora server by the provided JavaScript. If localStorage is disabled or unavailable, the site may need to request a new age confirmation and privacy choice when a fresh session begins.
12. Age Verification Storage
The record named ozvelora_age_confirmed_v1 holds a true or false age-confirmation state and a timestamp that is 365 days in the future when an adult visitor confirms access. It does not contain a full name, date of birth or identity document. When the site next reads this record after its expiry, it removes the record and asks for confirmation again. This self-declaration does not replace identification checks required by any lawfully operating casino.
13. Cookie Consent Storage
The record named ozvelora_cookie_preferences_v1 saves Boolean analytics and marketing choices, together with an expiry timestamp 180 days after the most recent saving action. Essential storage does not have an off switch in the panel. Reading an expired record causes it to be removed so that the visitor can choose again. The record is intended to reflect an individual preference; it does not mean that third-party technologies are running when no corresponding provider is installed.
14. How Consent Is Recorded
When a visitor selects Accept All, Reject Optional or Save Preferences, JavaScript creates a localStorage record reflecting the chosen optional categories. Until that action is taken, the optional categories are treated as disabled. The 18+ confirmation is stored separately because it serves a different purpose. No analytics or marketing script runs in this implementation. If additional services are introduced, they must be connected to the saved decision in a way that prevents premature activation.
15. Managing Cookie Preferences
The floating banner offers three clear actions. Accept All turns on both optional category flags, Reject Optional keeps both off and Customise opens a panel where the categories may be chosen separately. Essential storage remains indicated as always active because it allows the site to remember key decisions. The settings are saved for future visits to the same website origin. If browser storage is cleared, the panel may appear again and the visitor can make a new choice.
16. Changing Your Choices
Visitors can reopen cookie preferences from the footer of every page or through the Manage Cookie Settings control on this page. Updated choices replace the earlier stored settings and begin a fresh 180-day preference period. Disabling a category affects any future optional integrations only if those integrations have been correctly built to respect the choices. At present, the controls do not activate or disable an installed analytics or marketing system, because neither category has a provider in the source package.
17. Disabling Cookies in Your Browser
Most modern browsers allow people to review site data, block some third-party cookies, clear cookies and remove localStorage records. The exact menu names differ between browsers and devices. Clearing ozvelora site data will remove remembered age and consent choices, which can lead to the prompts appearing again. Browser-level settings may also prevent external maps from working as expected. Visitors should consult their browser's own help pages for current step-by-step instructions.
18. Cookie Retention
The site's two persistent records are designed with expiry timestamps: 365 days for age confirmation and 180 days for cookie choices. The script checks expiration when reading stored data; localStorage may retain an expired string until a page visit or browser clean-up triggers removal. There is no configured first-party analytics or advertising cookie lifetime because those cookies are not installed. External service retention periods may differ and should be checked in the relevant provider's policy.
| Identifier | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ozvelora_age_confirmed_v1 | Essential localStorage | Remembers adult age self-confirmation | 365-day timestamp; removed on next expired read |
ozvelora_cookie_preferences_v1 | Essential localStorage | Stores analytics/marketing preferences | 180-day timestamp; removed on next expired read |
No first-party analytics or advertising cookies are deployed by the included source files. Third-party Google services may process technical request data as explained above.
19. Google Maps and Embedded Content
The city maps on the three destination pages begin with an explanatory panel rather than a live iframe request. When a visitor presses Load Google Map, the browser creates an iframe pointing to a city-level Google Maps view. This action may connect directly to Google and permit the service to collect connection data or use cookies according to its own terms. Choosing not to press the button leaves the map unloaded and does not prevent browsing the hotel content.
20. Third-Party Privacy Policies
Google Fonts and Google Maps are services operated independently from ozvelora, and their policies may explain information collection, identifiers, retention and international transfers. A visitor should consult those policies if they are concerned about the information shared through a browser connection. The same principle applies to any external resource linked from the site. An operator adding new services should provide clear, accurate information about them rather than assuming that a general cookie banner is enough.
21. Changes to This Policy
The cookie policy should be updated whenever an identifiable storage technology, third-party script, tracking category or retention period changes. A public deployment should also be checked to see whether a hosting platform or tag manager adds cookies not present in the source files. Visitors should be able to compare the description with real behaviour. Material new optional processing should not begin merely because a category appeared in an earlier settings screen.
22. Contact Information
Questions about cookies, local storage or this policy can be sent to [email protected] or raised by telephone on +61 412 982 009. Visitors can also change optional preferences through this page and clear site data in their browser at any time. Questions about third-party services can also be directed to those providers through their official privacy resources.
